The Civil Hospital at Jalandhar city in Punjab that is admitting the largest number of Covid-19 patients so far has been donated three high-end ventilators on Friday.

Dr Harinder Pal Singh, medical superintendent at the hospital, said that the ventilators were donated by the State Bank of India (SBI).

Deputy general manager of SBI, Kaushal Kishore Singh, said that the organisation understands its social responsibility well and stands for the country and society at every step.

The programme was attended by civil surgeon Dr Gurinder Kaur Chawla, SBI officer Pawan Bassi and others.
