As per the Indian Health Ministry data released in the morning on July 11, 2020, corona cases surged by 27114 in past 24 hours, recording the highest ever single day spike in cases of the disease so far in the country. The total number of the cases now stands at 820916.

Not just cases, the country also recorded the highest number of single day deaths due to the disease so far, reporting 519 Covid fatalities in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of deaths due to the virus has now reached 22123.

So far 515386 patients have recovered from the virus. Presently, there are 283407 active cases of the virus.
