As per the Indian Health Ministry data in the morning on September 26, 2020, cases of coronavirus surged by 85,362 in the past 24 hours. The virus killed 1089 people in the same time period.

As per the data, the cumulative total of cases in the country is now 59,03,933 including 9,60,969 active cases, 48,49,585 recovered and 93,379 deaths.
