60 years plus to get free vaccines from March 1

The turn for getting Covid vaccines for people over 60 years of age and over 45 years with comorbidities has come. From March 1 onward, they will get the vaccines free of cost in government facilities and vaccination will be chargeable in private facilities. The information has been shared by Mr KS Dhatwalia, DG, PIB.

“March 1st onwards, people over 60 years or 45 but with comorbidities can get vaccinated at 10,000 government facilities and many private hospitals,” tweeted Mr Dhatwalia.

“Vaccines will be administered free at government facilities while vaccines will be chargeable at private facilities,” he added.
