Cases of coronavirus continue to rise in India. As per the Indian Health Ministry data on March 4, 2021, the total number of active cases has increased to 173413, up by 3287 cases as compared to active cases reported the previous day.

As per the data, a total of 17047 cases and 89 deaths were recorded in the past 24 hours. And, a total of 14031 people recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours.

The total number of cases of the virus in India thus far has reached 11156923, out of which 10826075 have recovered. The total number of deaths is now 157435.
