The Delhi government has imposed night curfew in the national capital from 10 PM to 5 am in wake of surge in corona virus cases in the city from April 6, 2021 to April 30, 2021.
"Buses, metro, autos, taxis and other modes of public transport will be allowed to ferry only those people who are exempt from night curfew. Departments providing essential services to remain exempt. Rules applicable to movement of people and not essential goods and services," said Delhi government in an order.
The government said that there shall be no restriction on inter-state and intra-state movement/transportation of essential/non-essential goods.
It added that no separate permission/e-pass will be required for such movements.
On April 5, 2021, Delhi reported 3548 cases from 64003 tests, translating into a positivity rate to 5.54%.
