In worrying trends, the positivity rate of corona virus tests in Delhi has shot up to 20.22% in the past 24 hours, indicating that the virus is spreading rapidly. This is the first time when the positivity rate has increased to 20.22%.

With more cases, the mortality is also increasing in the city. A total of 112 people succumbed to the disease in Delhi, as per data on April 15, 2021. The cumulative positivity rate stands at 4.92%.

Delhi reported 16699 corona cases from 82569 tests on April 15, 2021, translating into a positivity rate of 20.22%. As per Delhi State Health Bulletin on April 15, 2021, active cases of the virus in Delhi are now 54309.

As per the data, 4784 out 14918 Covid beds in hospitals are occupied.
