India recorded another highest single day spike in corona cases at 2,34,692 new corona cases in the past 24 hours, as per the Indian Health Ministry data on April 17, 2021.

1,341 deaths were recorded  in the last 24 hours.
The total number of cases of the virus has reached 1,45,26,609, out of which 126,71,220 have recovered.
The total number of active cases of the virus has increased to 16,79,740 while total number of deaths has reached 175649.
