India recorded another highest daily spike of 273810 new corona cases in the past 24 hours, as per the Indian Health Ministry data on April 19, 2021, even as 1619 deaths were recorded in the 24 hours.

The total number of cases of the virus in India so far has reached 15061919, out of which 12953821 have recovered.
The total number of active cases of the virus has increased to 1929329 while total number of deaths has touched 178769.
