India once again recorded a sharp increase in corona cases and deaths in the past 24 hours, as per official data on May 6.

As per the Indian Health Ministry data on May 6, 2021, a total of 4,12,262 new corona cases, 3,29,113 recoveries and 3,980 deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours.
As per the data, the total number of cases of the virus in the country so far is 2,10,77,410, out of which 1,72,80,844 have recovered.
There have been 230168 corona deaths so far, as per government data. Active cases as of now have increased to 35,66,398.
