Delhi has recorded a substantial decline in corona cases in the last 24 hours, as per Delhi government on May 15.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has informed that 6500 cases have been reported in the city in the last 24 hours. This is 2000 cases less than the number reported on May 14, 2021.

The positivity rate has been recorded at 11%.

“Corona’s impact is going down in Delhi. I000 ICU beds have been set up within 15 days. Our doctors and engineers have set an example. I thank them,” Kejriwal added while digitally addressing the media on May 15, 2021.

Kejriwal also informed about opening of oxygen concentrator banks to provide timely oxygen to needy patients.

“We are starting an oxygen concentrator bank on May 15, 2021. It is essential to provide oxygen to Covid patients on time. 200 such banks have been set up in every district. Our team will provide the concentrator at the doorstep of patients in home isolation, if needed,” added Kejriwal.
