Cases of coronavirus are constantly declining in the national capital Delhi but the number of deaths has not reduced much. As per the Delhi State Health Bulletin on May 15, 2021, a total of 337 people died of Covid in the past 24 hours in the capital city. The city is has been reporting around 300 deaths almost every day except a few days when daily deaths came down to 300.

On May 14, a total 289 people succumbed to the deadly disease while 279 died on May 9, 2021. On the other hand, cases have regularly come down, and so has positivity rate.

On May 15, 2021, a total of 6430 cases were reported from 56811 tests. The positivity rate was recorded at 11.32%. Active cases in Delhi are now down to 66295.
