India’s Health Ministry has informed that a total 8,22,38,510 COVID vaccines are still unutilized in states and union territories.

“More than 8.22 Cr (8,22,38,510) balance and unutilized COVID Vaccine doses are still available with the States/UTs to be administered,” the ministry said in a press release on October 8, 2021.

“More than 94.86 crore (94,86,52,605) vaccine doses have been provided to States/UTs so far through Govt of India (free of cost channel) and through direct state procurement category,” the ministry added.
