COVID19 cases continue to increase in India with the country recording 9,923 fresh cases and 17 deaths in the past 24 hours.

According to the Union Health Ministry update issued on June 21, 2022, a total of 7,293 patients recovered in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries to 4,27,15,193.

The active cases stood at 79,313, the ministry informed.

The daily positive rate was recorded at 2.55%.
