India reports 19,893 COVID19 cases in 24 hours

India recorded 19,893 new COVID19 cases and 20,419 recoveries in the past 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said on August 4, 2022.
The ministry informed that the daily positivity rate has reached 4.94% while weekly positive rate has touched 4.64%.
The active cases stood at 1,36,478.
