Continuing with its endeavour to expand operations beyond Indian shores, HLL Infra Tech Services Ltd (HITES), a fully owned subsidiary of Central PSU HLL Lifecare Ltd (HLL), has signed the second phase of an agreement with the Government of Seychelles for providing a range of medical equipment to strengthen the health sector of that country.

The agreement was signed by Mr. S N Sathu, CEO, HITES, and Dr Danny Louange, CEO, Health Care Agency (HCA), Seychelles.

The agreements provides for HITES to give to Seychelles a wide range of equipment including such things as anesthesia units, neonatal ventilators, patient monitors, ultrasound scanners, dental chairs and examination beds.

This will benefit health centers in Seychelles by replacing old equipment

The Phase-1 Agreement signed in November 2016 was successfully by HITES which supplied 378 medical equipment to the country.

Mr. Sathu said the signing marked the second phase of the procurement of medical equipment from HITES by Seychelles.

HLL Chairman and Managing Director Dr R K Vats, IAS, said the supply of medical equipment to Mahe and other islands by HITES would strengthen the healthcare system there.

HITES, a subsidiary of HLL, is a ‘Mini Rata’ PSU of the Indian Ministry of Health. It is India’s only comprehensive healthcare service provider offering services to design, build, procure, install, commission and maintain healthcare infrastructure facilities.
