AIIMS: Vajpayee’s condition is stable

Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's condition is stable now in Delhi-AIIMS. He will continue to be in hospital till his infection is controlled. It is understood that Mr Vajpayee has Urinary Infection.

“His condition is stable. He is responding to treatment and is on injectable antibiotics. All vital parameters are stable. He will continue to be in hospital till infection is controlled,” said Dr Prof Aarti Vij, Chairperson, Media & Protocol Division, in a press release.

The former PM was admitted at Delhi-AIIMS on June 11,2018, for investigation and evaluation. He has been diagnosed with urinary tract infection for which treatment is closely monitored by team of doctors including Dr Prof Randeep Guleria, Director Delhi-AIIMS.

Dr Guleria is the personal physician of Mr Vajpayee.
