The Zika virus is terrorizing people in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The Health Ministry has informed that twenty two cases of Zika have been detected to be positive so far in the outbreak in the Pink City. The detection of cases has been done through ICMR surveillance system.

The ministry has said that the government is monitoring the situation and providing all assistance to the state government including IEC material to create awareness about the deadly virus. Pregnant women are being monitored through NHM.
