Online application for NEET-UG starts today

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has invited online applications from medical aspirants for NEET-UG-2019 from November 1, 2018, on its official website. The test will be conducted by NTA for admissions to MBBS and BDS courses in medical and dental colleges run with approval of Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India.

The NEET-UG will be conducted on May 5, 2018, from 2 pm to 5 pm. This test shall consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from physics, chemistry and biology (botany and zoology).

This will be a single exam in pen-and-paper mode. The duration of the paper would be three hours. The fee for the exam has kept at Rs 1,400 for general and OBC candidates while Rs 750 has been kept for SC, ST and transgender candidates.

The last date for applying for the exam is November 30, 2018. The fee for the exam can be paid through online, net banking and e-challans. The admit card for the exam can be downloaded on April 15,2018.

The result will be declared on the NTA website on June 6, 2018.
