Doctors associated with the Telangana Junior Doctors Association have urged Dr K Ramesh Reddy, Director, Medical Education, Telangana, to issue a notice to the Faber Sindoori Bio-Medical Engineering Services for non-maintenance of bio-medical equipment in Osmania General Hospital.

In a letter to Dr Reddy, the doctors’ association has stated that they are facing difficulties in providing healthcare services due to non-maintenance bio-medical equipment.

The doctors said that non-maintenance of bio-medical equpment is delaying the healthcare services to patients.

“We request to you take necessary steps for issuing notice to the contractor and ensure that proper services are provided on regular basis,”  reads the letter of Telangana Junior Doctors Association.

Bio-medical equipment include anesthesia machine, aspiration/suction pump, blood chemistry analyzer, cast saw, centrifuge, computer equipment defibrillator, diagnostic ultrasound with probes, ECG/EKG, Feeding Pump and Fetal Doppler.
