Veteran orthopedic surgeon Dr. Pradeep Sharma joins ISIC

Veteran orthopedic surgeon Dr. Pradeep Sharma, a specialist in joint replacement and joint reconstruction, has been appointed as Chief of Joint Replacement Services at the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre (ISIC), said the Delhi-based hospital in a press release.

Dr. Sharma has 40 years of experience in the field. He was working as Director and Head of Centre for Orthopedics, Joint Replacement and Ortho Spine at BLK Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi.

Dr Sharma has earlier worked as Senior Consultant, Orthopedic Surgeon and Chief Coordinator, Department of Orthopedics - Holy Family Hospital, New Delhi, and as Consultant in Rockland Hospital, New Delhi, and Fortis Hospital, New Delhi.

Dr Sharma has been senior resident orthopedics at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, and has worked in various capacities at the Ministry of Health, Baghdad, Iraq and in the UK.

Dr. Sharma has done his MCh in Orthopedics from the University of Liverpool. He went on to pursue Arthroplasty Fellowships from Sindelfingen, Germany, and Sentinal Hospital, Los Angeles, U.S.A. as well as a Trauma Fellowship from Davos in Switzerland.
