Failed to get MBBS seat, student commits suicide in Mathura

Apprehending that he could not clear the entrance test for the MBBS course, a 22-year-old medical aspirant committed suicide in a guest house in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. The medical aspirant, Hemraj Singh, has left a suicide note which says that no one should be blamed for his suicide as he could not secure admission in MBBS course.

Police has informed the media that Singh had gone to take a round (Parikrama) of the Govardhan hill before he came to his room and hung himself. Police said that Singh had been preparing for the exam for the last three years in Kota, Rajasthan, but he could not clear the test. Singh hailed from Bharatpur, Rajasthan.
