Doctors at the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hospital in Delhi marched on the streets holding aloft banners in support of the striking doctors in West Bengal and condemning the inaction by the state government of West Bengal.

The striking doctors demanded security for themselves so that they can get back to the job of treating patients. The doctors raised slogans demanding justice for themselves and from the surcharged atmosphere it appeared that this time the doctors are ready for a fight to the finish so that there are no more attacks on doctors in hospitals.

If the demands of the doctors are not met, it looks certain that the protests will only intensify in the coming days.
