All India Doctors Convention in Delhi on September 15

NEW DELHI : All India Doctors Convention (AIDC) will be held in New Delhi on September 15, 2019. The convention is the first attempt in the history of independent India where doctors’ associations from all over the country are uniting on a common platform to address common problems/issues.

The doctors associations will share their expertise on various subjects including the struggle against NMC, structure of AIMCC and other issues relevant to residents/In-service doctors, a press release has informed.

Dr. Harjit Singh Bhatti, Organizer of the convention, said, “We, as a fraternity, always failed to stand together at the time of crisis which has adversely affected our education and profession. We are frightened that if we won’t unite now then this misery might continue indefinitely.”

Dr Bhatti stated, “To permanently put a full stop on these miscommunications and lack of unity, AIDC is envisaged to improve coordination among various independent resident doctors/In Service doctors’ organizations who are actively working towards the betterment of medical profession.”

He informed that the convention will work to make All India Medicos Coordination Committee (AIMCC) which will help for future coordination and united efforts.

"The response which we got is overwhelming and exciting. No major organization is left from filling the form of attendance to the convention. This energetic response has motivated us for better organization of convention to accommodate all attending Associations/Unions and also give them ample amount of time to represent their views and plans," added Dr Bhatti.
