Feracrylum

Feracrylum

It is a biocompatible, biodegradable polymer. This polymer is hygroscopic in nature, soluble in water, non-absorbable in the system and forms complexes when in contact with blood, and thus exerts haemostatic action. These complexes have a gel-like structure, which create a physical barrier when oozing occurs. The unique inherent antimicrobial property of these synthetic polyacrylates simultaneously prevents bacterial growth on and near the would site.

Indications

Post-operative dressing, dressing raw area, surgical procedures for dressing of burn site, dressing of various types of wounds. Packing of abscess, Post-oprative packing Epistaxis, Sub mucous resection of nasal septum (SMR)
