Nimesulide with Race-methionine

Nimesulide is a time-tested well accepted anti-inflammatory analgesic agent with partial Cox-2 selectivity. In this composition, Nimesulide has been combined with Race-methionine. It is observed that Methionine is an essential amino-acid containing sulphur. Methionine is an excellent hepatic vitalizer. It maintains hepatic harmony. Methionine acts as a lipotropic agent to prevent excess fat build-up in the liver. Methionine slows down the process of ageing. It also eliminates fatty substances, that obstruct the arteries.

Indications

It is indicated in wide variety of arthritis, Musculo-skeletal disorders and inflammations of varied origin.

Dosage

One tablets twice or thrice a day or as advised by the physician.

Contra-Indications

It should be avoided in patients with known history of allergy to Nimesulide and sulphonamides. It is not recommended in pregnancy and lactation.

Special Precautions

It should be used with caution in patients with severe cardiac, renal or hepatic disease. It should be used with caution in patients with history of peptic ulcer.

Side Effects

Nausea, Vomiting, epigastric discomfort, Heart burn, headache, dizziness, pruritus, skin rash or diarrhoea.

Drug Interactions

Drugs with high protein binding affinity (Feno Fibrate, Valproic acid, Salicylic Acid, Tolbutamide etc.) may displace Nimesulide, causing enhanced effects. Nimesulide should be avoided with diuretics and other hepato-toxic drugs.
