Anupriya Patel has officially taken over as the Minister of State in the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. She was welcomed by senior officials, including Union Health Secretary Apurva Chandra and Additional Secretary  Roli Singh.

Patel has a distinguished political career. She was elected to the Lok Sabha from the Mirzapur constituency in 2014, 2019, and again in 2024. She previously served as the Union Minister of State in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare from July 2016 to May 2019, and as Union Minister of State in the Ministry of Commerce & Industry from July 2021 to June 2024.

In addition to her national roles, Patel has been a Member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly and has held various other significant positions throughout her career. Her extensive experience in health and commerce positions her well to address the challenges and opportunities in the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
