In a significant boost to advanced eye care services in the region, Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital has launched Navi Mumbai’s first robotic cataract surgery suite at its Advanced Eye Hospital & Institute in Sanpada, Vashi. The new suite was inaugurated by Sujata Suraj Patil, Mayor of the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, in the presence of Deputy Mayor Dashrath Bhagat, who attended as Guest of Honour.

Speaking at the launch, Mayor Sujata Suraj Patil lauded the initiative, stating that the introduction of advanced femtosecond laser technology would significantly enhance the quality of eye care in Navi Mumbai. She emphasized that residents would now have access to world-class treatment locally, reducing the need to travel to other cities.

Dr Vandana Jain further noted that the hospital has consistently been at the forefront of adopting innovative ophthalmic technologies. She added that combining such advanced platforms with experienced surgeons ensures safer procedures and better clinical outcomes.
