Yatarth Doctors Launch AI-Powered Stroke Care Intiative

AI-Powered Stroke Care Launched in NCR at Yatharth Hospital

In a major step for emergency healthcare in the region, Yatharth Super Speciality Hospital has become one of the first hospitals in NCR to introduce Rapid AI, a new technology that helps doctors detect and treat strokes faster and more accurately.

A stroke is a serious condition that happens when blood flow to the brain stops, either due to a blockage or bleeding. When this happens, brain cells start getting damaged within minutes, making quick treatment very important. Warning signs like sudden weakness, trouble speaking, or loss of balance should never be ignored.

With the help of Rapid AI, doctors can now understand brain scans much faster. The system quickly studies CT and MRI scans and gives results within minutes. It shows if there is any blockage or bleeding and how much of the brain is affected. It also helps doctors identify which part of the brain can still be saved, so they can act without delay.

Earlier, analysing these scans could take more time, especially if specialists were not immediately available. This new AI system makes the process faster by giving clear and simple results almost instantly. It also helps doctors treat some patients even several hours after a stroke, which was difficult before.

Dr Sunil Baliyan, COO and Facility Director, said the hospital is focused on bringing better technology for patients. He added that Rapid AI will help doctors provide quicker and more accurate treatment in emergency situations.

Dr Sumit Goyal, Head of Neurosurgery, also shared that time is very important in stroke care. According to him, this technology allows doctors to take fast decisions, which can save lives and reduce long-term complications.

With this step, the hospital has further strengthened its emergency and neurocare services. At a time when stroke cases are rising in India, the use of AI in healthcare can make a real difference.

Overall, the introduction of Rapid AI means patients can receive faster treatment, better care, and improved chances of recovery.
