In a move that could quietly reshape the future of medicine, Denmark-based pharmaceutical giant Novo Nordisk has joined hands with OpenAI, the creators of ChatGPT, to build what experts are already calling a powerful new “super-brain” for drug discovery. The aim is clear and urgent: find better treatments for obesity and diabetes faster than ever.

The partnership, announced today, brings together two very different worlds. Scientists who spend years in labs studying molecules under microscopes are on one side. They often fail many times before they find a breakthrough. On the other hand, there is artificial intelligence, which can scan and process millions of pieces of medical data in a matter of seconds.
