In a moment of significant pride for India’s medical community, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has been ranked 6th among the “Top 25 Hospital Brands of the World – 2026.” Notably, the premier institute has secured a position above globally renowned institutions such as the Cleveland Clinic and Singapore General Hospital.

The recognition highlights AIIMS Delhi’s growing global reputation for excellence in healthcare delivery, academic leadership, and pioneering research. The ranking is being viewed as a milestone achievement for India’s public healthcare system.

Adding to the national accomplishment, Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), Mumbai, has been ranked 13th on the same list, placing it ahead of the MD Anderson Cancer Center, one of the world’s leading cancer treatment and research institutions.

The Faculty Association of AIIMS (FAIMS) described the recognition as a reflection of the collective dedication and relentless efforts of the AIIMS fraternity, including faculty members, resident doctors, nurses, students, and administrative staff. The association emphasized that the achievement underscores AIIMS’ longstanding commitment to its core mission of patient care, medical education, and research.
