The initiative aims to ensure that residents in flood-hit regions of Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and adjoining areas have access to timely healthcare despite the crisis.

For those seeking medical advice, AIIMS has set up a dedicated helpline number 9355023967, which will remain functional between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm daily. Through this service, doctors at AIIMS will offer consultations and guidance remotely, reducing the need for patients to travel in difficult conditions.

The telemedicine service is expected to be a lifeline for families cut off from regular medical facilities due to damaged infrastructure and limited mobility caused by the floods.
