From Hospital Corridors to Doorsteps: Gurugram Hospital Takes Healthcare Closer to Communities
For many people, reaching a hospital for every health concern can be challenging, especially when timely consultation and preventive care could help avoid complications. Addressing this gap, Manipal Hospital Gurugram has taken healthcare beyond hospital walls with the launch of a new Medical Room at Park View Residency, Ashok Vihar, Gurugram.
The neighbourhood healthcare facility aims to bring essential medical services closer to residents by providing easy access to consultations, preventive screenings, diagnostic support, and emergency assistance within their own community.
The launch comes at a time when community-based healthcare is gaining importance, with healthcare experts increasingly emphasising early detection, regular health monitoring, and preventive interventions to manage diseases effectively.
The Medical Room was inaugurated in the presence of Jawahar Yadav, Chief Spokesperson, BJP Haryana and Former OSD to the Chief Minister of Haryana, along with Navin Pascal, Hospital Director, Manipal Hospital Gurugram, and members of the Park View Residency Residents’ Welfare Association.
The newly established facility will provide residents with scheduled consultations from specialists across different medical fields, along with nursing support, medicine delivery services, sample collection facilities, and emergency healthcare assistance. The initiative is expected to particularly benefit senior citizens, families, and individuals requiring regular medical follow-ups.
Speaking at the inauguration, Navin Pascal, Hospital Director, Manipal Hospital Gurugram, said that healthcare accessibility remains a key priority for the hospital.
“Healthcare should be easily available and integrated into people’s daily lives. Through this Medical Room, we are strengthening the connection between hospitals and homes by ensuring residents have access to trusted medical expertise, timely consultations, diagnostic support, and essential healthcare services closer to where they live,” he said.
The initiative reflects a growing shift in healthcare delivery, where hospitals are increasingly focusing not only on treating illnesses but also on preventing them through community engagement and early intervention.
With this expansion of neighbourhood healthcare services, Manipal Hospital Gurugram aims to create a stronger preventive healthcare network and encourage residents to seek timely medical advice rather than waiting for health problems to become serious.
The Medical Room is part of Manipal Hospital Gurugram’s broader commitment to improving healthcare accessibility and building healthier communities through patient-focused outreach programmes.
