IMA Condemns Lal Qila Blast, Extends Solidarity and Support to Victims and Families

The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has expressed deep shock and grief over the tragic explosion that occurred near Lal Qila (Red Fort) in Delhi on November 10, 2025, which claimed several innocent lives and left many others injured.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the IMA described the incident as a heart-wrenching reminder of the ongoing challenges to peace and public safety in the country. The association extended its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and wished for the speedy recovery of those undergoing treatment.

“No act of violence can ever weaken the spirit and resilience of our people. We stand united in grief and determination during this difficult time,” the IMA said, calling for collective strength and compassion.

The association also expressed its full support to the Government of India and law enforcement agencies as they investigate the incident and work to ensure the safety and security of citizens. It urged the public to remain calm, avoid spreading misinformation, and uphold values of peace, tolerance, and humanity.

“Together, we must stand strong, support one another, and reaffirm our commitment to peace and unity,” the statement added.

The message was jointly issued by Dr. Dilip Bhanushali, National President, and Dr. Sarbari Dutta, Honorary Secretary General of the Indian Medical Association.
