On the occasion of World Kidney Day, Medanta Mediclinic Subhash Chowk organised an awareness initiative to highlight the importance of kidney health and promote early screening and preventive care among the public.

The programme brought together members of the clinic’s medical team and staff for interactive discussions on kidney health, risk factors and the importance of timely diagnosis. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Debabrata Mukherjee, Senior Director of Nephrology and Kidney Transplant Medicine, emphasised the growing burden of kidney disease and the need for greater public awareness about preventive healthcare.

As part of the initiative, attendees were also taken on a guided walkthrough of the facility’s newly established dialysis unit. The centre aims to expand access to advanced renal care services in Gurugram while ensuring a patient-centric treatment environment.

The dialysis unit has been designed to minimise waiting times, maintain strict infection control standards and provide comfortable treatment facilities for patients undergoing dialysis.

Through this awareness drive and the launch of the dialysis facility, Medanta Mediclinic Subhash Chowk reiterated its commitment to strengthening kidney care services, encouraging preventive health practices and improving access to modern treatment options for patients in the region.
