Rainbow Children’s Medicare Limited, one of India’s leading providers of paediatric, perinatal and women’s healthcare services, has announced the appointment of Mr. Abrarali Dalal as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective January 20, 2026. The leadership transition comes as the company looks to strengthen its executive team and accelerate its long-term growth strategy across its expanding national network.
Mr. Dalal brings with him over 25 years of experience in the healthcare sector, with a strong background in leading multi-location hospital networks, driving operational excellence and executing strategic expansion initiatives. His appointment follows the recommendation of the company’s Nomination and Remuneration Committee and was approved by the Board of Directors.
In his new role, Mr. Dalal will oversee Rainbow Children’s Medicare’s continued expansion while focusing on enhancing clinical quality, operational efficiency and patient-centric care. The company said his deep industry expertise and proven leadership credentials are expected to play a key role in strengthening value delivery for patients, clinicians, partners and stakeholders.
Welcoming the appointment, Dr. Ramesh Kancharla, Chairman and Managing Director of Rainbow Children’s Medicare Limited, said the organisation was confident that Mr. Dalal’s leadership would guide the company through its next phase of growth.
He described Rainbow as India’s leading children’s healthcare group and said Mr. Dalal’s strategic insight and extensive experience made him well suited to lead the organisation at a critical time. According to Dr. Kancharla, the appointment is expected to further enhance the group’s capabilities and reinforce its mission of delivering high-quality healthcare for women and children.
Expressing his views on taking charge, Mr. Dalal said he was honoured to join Rainbow Children’s Medicare at a time when paediatric and maternal healthcare in India is undergoing rapid transformation. He noted that evolving clinical practices, changing patient expectations and shifting referral dynamics are reshaping the sector.
Highlighting Rainbow’s strong clinical credibility and outcome-driven model of care, Mr. Dalal said his focus would be on strengthening the organisation’s foundations through operational discipline, digital enablement and improved care coordination across regions.
He added that these efforts would help Rainbow continue its leadership in children’s and maternal healthcare while maintaining a strong emphasis on patient safety and clinical outcomes.
