A routine day at Swami Dayanand Hospital turned violent when a security guard was allegedly beaten up brutally, leaving him with serious head injuries and 28 stitches. 

The incident has once again brought the spotlight on the growing safety concerns faced by hospital staff who work on the frontlines to keep medical facilities running smoothly.

According to information available, the guard was attacked with such force that he suffered deep wounds to his head. 

Disturbing photographs of his injuries have since surfaced, clearly showing the severity of the assault. Colleagues say the attack was sudden and shocking, leaving staff and patients shaken.

The injured guard was immediately given medical attention, where doctors confirmed that his head injuries were severe enough to require multiple stitches. 

The matter was subsequently reported to the GTB Enclave police station, and a formal complaint has been filed. Police officials have said an investigation is underway to determine what led to the attack and to identify those responsible.

Hospital staff say incidents like this are becoming alarmingly frequent and have raised serious questions about security within healthcare institutions. 

“We are here to ensure safety and order, not to become targets of violence,” said one staff member, reflecting the growing frustration among hospital workers.

The incident has renewed calls for stricter security arrangements and swift legal action against those who assault healthcare and support staff.
