Nasscom, NATHEALTH to boost startups in digital health solutions

Technology services industry body Nasscom has partnered with apex healthcare industry body NATHEALTH to encourage startups to work on digital healthcare solutions in India.

Through its Center of Excellence on Internet of Things (CoE-IOT), Nasscom has entered into a strategic partnership with NATHEALTH to boost the start-up ecosystem in the country and bring digital healthcare solutions.

Technology adoption in the Indian healthcare sector is poised for substantial growth as it continues to emerge as a game-changer in the delivery of healthcare services, said Debjani Ghosh, President, Nasscom.

He said, “With our combined resources we hope to make a significant contribution to make healthcare systems accessible in our country.”

Mr Ghosh stated, “With technology permeating through all verticals today, we are confident that we shall see advanced healthcare facilities that provide easily accessible and affordable services to the citizens of our country.”

NATHEALTH and CoE have identified several major areas of collaboration, including Digital Adoption by Healthcare Industry and Universal Healthcare that would promote efficient, accessible and easily available technology enabled products and solutions for the citizens of India.

“Our aim is to provide support to innovation through co-creation program with specialized focus on IoT, AI, Robotics, AR/VR and Blockchain technologies that have a positive impact,” said Dr. H. Sudarshan Ballal, President, NATHEALTH.
