The Delhi government has appointed Dr Sanjay Tyagi, Director-Professor, Cardiology, GB Pant Hospital, as the new dean of Delhi's Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC). Dr Tyagi replaces Dr S Ramji, Director-Professor, Pediatrics, MAMC, who was holding the charge of dean.

65-year-old doctor stabbed, robbed in Delhi

A 65-year-old doctor was stabbed in his abdomen and arms and robbed of cash and jewelry worth Rs five lakh by a gang of four in Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar area. The doctor, P K Batra, put up some resistance, screamed and even kicked the robbers, but all in vain.
