NEW DELHI: The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) held a workshop in Delhi to create awareness on Coronavirus among doctors working in its allopathic and AYUSH hospitals and dispensaries.

After inaugurating the workshop, NDMC Chairman Mr Dharmendra said that stress may be given to the prevention of the disease such as what should be done and what should be told to general public to prevent the transmission of the disease.

The Chairman warned against disseminating misinformation about Coronavirus through social media and such platforms may be used to sensitise people at large with correct information about this disease.  

Prof. of Medicine from AIIMS, Dr. A.Biswas, and Vardhman Mahavir Medical College professor, Dr.Jugal Kishore, interacted with doctors working in the Municipal Health services.

The experts answered questions related to Coronavirus and it's symptoms and also discussed the preventive measures.
