Delhi: Fire doused at ESI Hospital in Basai Darapur

NEW DELHI: Six patients were rescued to safety after a fire broke out in the ceiling of the operation theater on the third floor of the ESI hospital in Basai Darapur, Delhi, according to a statement.
The Delhi Fire Department received information about the blaze at 9.10 am following which six fire tenders were rushed to the spot and it was doused by 9.25 am, the officials said.
In the statement, Atul Garg, Chief fire officer, said, “The fire broke out in the ceiling of the operation theater on the third floor of the ESI hospital after which six patients were rescued to safer place.”
He said, “The cause of the fire is being established.”
