Support for West Bengal doctors who have been on strike for over one week due to assaults of  their colleagues in NRS Medical College, Kolkata. is coming from abroad too.

The Nepal Medical Association has stated that it strongly supports the Indian counterparts on violence against doctors.

The Nepal association has stated that the issue of violence is also prevalent in Nepal.

In the time of this crisis where junior doctors were brutally assaulted in West Bengal, they have expressed solidarity with the Indian doctors who are known as experts across the globe.

The statement to this effect was issued by Dr Mukti Ram Shreshta,  President,  Nepal Medical Association.
