Resident Doctors Association (RDA) of Delhi-AIIMS has urged the institute Director Dr Randeep Guleria to ensure round the clock availability of personal protection equipment (PPE) in wake of coronavirus pandemic.

Dr Adarsh Pratap Singh, President, RDA, Delhi-AIIMS, told DTMT that a team of RDA inspected various wards to check the supply of PPE in wake of coronavirus pandemic on March 15, 2020.

“Sadly, we found that some of the wards do not have adequate these equipment. We have requested the director to ensure round the clock availability of PPE,” added Dr Singh.

“We request the administration to take prompt action to ensure PPE availability round the clock for the safety of doctors and nursing staff in order to continue providing our selfless service to our patients,” said the RDA in a letter to the director.
