The Delhi Government will provide oxy pulse meter to Covid patients being treated under home quarantine to examine the level of oxygen in the body.The meter will be returned to the government after the patients are cured of corona.

Addressing the media and Delhi citizens thorough video on June 22, 2020, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, “You keep this oxy pulse meter at home. Examine you oxygen level each hour. If your oxygen level goes down, you call us by dialing a phone number that will be provided to you soon,” he added.

“We are deploying oxygen concentrators in each Delhi district. Our team will reach you with oxygen concentrators immediately and will provide you oxygen. If needed, you will be shifted to hospital. We have observed that due to non-provision of oxygen a patient collapses till he reaches hospital. Therefore, we are deploying oxygen concentrators to provide oxygen at the earliest and then, if necessary, you will be taken to hospital,” informed Kejriwal.
