Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad administration has withdrawn relaxation allowed for marriage function in wake of rise of Corona cases and deaths.

An order issued by District Magistrate Ajay Shankar Pandey says that attendees or guests at a marriage function have been reduced to 100 from 200.  

The same decision has already been taken by adjoining Gautam Budh Nagar administration to curb the spread of infections which have been taking a toll on the health of people across India.

In Delhi, the number of attendees has been reduced to 50 from 200.

Uttar Pradesh has reported close to 6 lakh Covid cases and 7480 deaths so far.
