The tenure of Delhi-AIIMS’ Director Prof Randeep Guleria has been extended by three months more. This is the second time that Prof Guleria’s term has been extended by three months.

“Dr Randeep Guleria was appointed as Director, AIIMS, New Delhi for a term of five years vide office memorandum dated March 28, 2017. His tenure as Director, AIIMS, New Delhi was extended for a period of three months from March 25, 2022,” the office memorandum issued by Deputy Director (Administration) Rabindra Kumar Aggarwal read.

“The President, AIIMS New Delhi is pleased to further extend his tenure as Director AIIMS New Delhi from June 25, 2022 by three months or by the time a new Director is appointed, whichever is earlier. Other terms and conditions of his appointment would be in accordance with the rules of the institute,” the memorandum further read.
