The verbal battle between the Indian Medical Association and Baba Ramdev's Patanjali on the latter's recently launched Coronil has taken a new turn. Coronil is an Ayurveda drug which was recently launched by Yog Guru Ramdev in presence of Indian Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan.

Acharya Balkrishna from Patanjali has given an open invitation to IMA officials for a discussion on the science behind Coronil, with the research team.

“Let us discuss in front of the nation or IMA apologize for baseless non-scientific allegations. We at Patnajali are pro-science but anti-conspiracy,” tweeted Balkrishna.

It may be noted that IMA has been questioning the presence of Dr Vardhan in the launching of Coronil.
