Cases of coronavirus continue to rise in India. 16488 cases were recorded in the past 24 hours, as per the Indian Health Ministry data on February 27, 2021.

And, 113 people succumbed to the disease in the day.

As per the data, a total of 12771 people recovered from the virus in the previous 24 hours. The total number of cases of the virus in India so far has reached 11079979, out of which 10763451 have recovered. The death toll in the country is now 156938.

Active corona cases in India are now 159590.
