India reports 2,202 COVID19 cases in 24 hours

India recorded 2,202 fresh COVID19 cases, 2,550 recoveries, and 27 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry informed on May 16, 2022.
The active cases now stand at 17,317.
