India reports 1,569 COVID19 cases in 24 hours

India recorded 1,569 fresh COVID19 cases, 2,467 recoveries, and 19 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry informed on May 17, 2022.
The active cases now stand at 16,400.
